The Grant Application & Project
Following a serious break-in in October 2024 that resulted in the theft of all the church’s silver, the PCC took steps to enhance safety. A subsequent fire risk assessment identified urgent electrical and lighting upgrades needed to protect the building and its users. With the grant secured, we carried out several works in the church building. These included rewiring (emergency) lighting, and various additional power supplies.
We were grateful for the swift response of the Trust (within 4 days of submission we received their grant notification letter and are incredibly thankful that they were able to support this essential work
